I have to keep opening up the photos app and click import before the app crashes. Eventually, I have been able to import most pictures (sadly few I cannot as the app crashes even before I can do anything). But it is such a pain having to repeat “open the Photos and click import” until I’m able to import pictures from my memory card. Just a note to Apple that I have the same issue with the Lightning to SD Card reader when I use it with my iPhone X. If you are reading this Apple, please kindly review the multiple bad reviews against Lightning to SD Card adapter!! The issue might have been related to the IOS 12. Several reviewers mentioned that the adapter used to work prior to IOS 12.
