RSA SecurID two-factor authentication is based on something you have (a software token installed in the Token app) and something you know (an RSA SecurID PIN), providing a more reliable level of user authentication than reusable passwords.
After you install the Token app, you separately import a software token. With the token installed, the app generates one-time passwords (OTPs). You use your PIN and the current OTP to access protected resources, such as your VPN client. You never need to carry a separate hardware token.

Works fine
The software token works fine and is much nicer than a hard token. Setup is a bit of a pain, but I only have to do that once a year when my token expires (or when I get a new phone) so no big deal. The lack of Touch ID support is annoying. I don't have an Apple Watch, so that doesn't directly affect me, but the lack of Apple Watch support is also odd.
Has worked great for me last 12 months
A few minor hiccups here and there all that were easily fixed. Imported all of the tokens I use, codes are accurate. What can I say, it’s better than carrying around a keychain of hard tokens. I agree with everyone else calling for a watch complication. That will be a nice feature.
My other personal suggestion is to please, please move the ‘my tokens’ button(icon) from the bottom left corner of the footer bar to the top left so it isn’t covered up by the keyboard when you are typing in a pin. Put the footer below the keyboard or even better move the button out of the footer and into the header would be cleaner and more consistent app design. (In my opinion)
Crashes on IOS
Rsa Securid Desktop Application
Worked fine for years, now it’s barely usable. Please fix this application, it requires you to restart the iOS device in order for it to work once..then crashes every time you open it afterwards. Closing the app doesn’t fix it either. This has been going on since the last couple of updates - please resolve.
