The Rocketek CAC smart card reader is an easy-to-install USB device suited for all contact smart card operations like online-banking or digital signature applications, also built-in SD/MMC, micro SD, M2, MS, SIM common memory card slots. Nice and compact and works well for both Mac and PC. Just have to download the drivers from IOGear, and if you're trying to use this with a DoD CAC (at least; not sure about any others) on a Mac, you'll have to make sure to not use the latest firmware (instructions are easily found on the Internet).
After you upgrade your computer to Windows 10, if your IOGEAR Card Reader Drivers are not working, you can fix the problem by updating the drivers. It is possible that your Card Reader driver is not compatible with the newer version of Windows.

Double-click on the program to run it. It will then scan your computer and identify any problem drivers. You will see a results page similar to the one below:
Click the Update Driver button next to your driver. The correct version will be downloaded and installed automatically. Or, you can click the Update Drivers button at the bottom to automatically download and install the correct version of all the drivers that are missing or out-of-date on your system.

SCM's SCR3310 and SCR3310v2.0 are small and ergonomic USB smart card readers, with backside mounting holes. The readers are ISO 7816 compliant, and can be used for cards in ID 1 card format.

SCR331 and SCR531 users note that only readers that have CCID firmware are supported. Readers that have firmware Rev 2.0 and above are CCID. This driver may also be used with the following third party products: Goldtouch ErgoSecure SC 2.0 keyboard, Datakey DKR830. If the host is running Windows 98 SE or Windows Me, ensure that Microsoft Smart Card Base Components are installed on the host before atempting to install the drivers.
